Refund policy
"The Box Beam Collection" is an operational division of The Vintage Wood Floor Company. All policies of The Vintage Wood Floor Company apply to The Box Beam Collection.
Customers and users of the site the boxbeamcollection.com may purchase items configured on the site but orders are not confirmed until accepted by us. Given the many variables involved in building custom items such as box beams, there will inevitably be issues that arise between the configuring and building of the box beam. In the event that we receive your configured order for a box beam(s) and determine we cannot build the box beam to the specifications, we may decline the order and refund the purchase price. Additionally, if we determine for any other reason we cannot complete the order we will decline the order and refund the purchase price within two weeks of receipt of the order. Where a conflict arises between what is ordered and what can be produced we will contact you to discuss a solution. If a mutually agreeable solution is not reached we will refund the purchase price.
As stated on each product page, every item is custom made to your order so returns for reasons other than manufacturing defects is not offered. Items with defects in manufacturing will first be offered a replacement and The Vintage Wood Floor Company is the sole arbiter of whether the item has a manufacturing defect. Many of our reclaimed wood products have material attributes of 'imperfection' derived from their source (reclaimed barn wood has nail holes, variability in color and texture, etc.) which are not manufacturing defects. We have a 30-day return policy for manufacturing defects, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to notify us and return the product to us.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused (not installed).. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase date.
To start a return, you can contact us at marketing@vintagewoodfloors.com and provide quality photos. If your return is accepted, we’ll notify you at which point you will be required to arrange and pay for the return shipping. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. It is your responsibility to pack the items in a manner so they are not damaged during shipping. Beams longer than 10ft must be shipped by freight carrier. Insurance is highly recommended.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if you feel the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. PLEASE TAKE QUALITY PHOTOS OF ITEM AND PACKAGING.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the item is covered as a manufacturing defect; whether a replacement or refund will be offered.
